Walker Road and Ingram Road road safety scheme

1/2

Walker Road and Ingram Road proposed road safety scheme

Walsall Council has responsibility for road safety. We review road collisions involving injury on an annual basis and Walker Road and Ingram Road have been identified as a poor performing road when compared to other similar roads in the Borough. There have been a total of 17 injury collisions in the last 3 years, 4 involving fatal or serious injury. This has resulted in a total of 26 casualties.

Draft road safety proposals have been drawn up to help reduce the risk of collisions. The proposals include either sets of speed cushions and speed cushions with small central islands. These measures will encourage slower speeds.

Prior to the scheme being finalised, we would like to hear your views on the draft plans.

Review the detailed plans and complete the short survey at the bottom of this page.
