The We Are Walsall borough plan will outline everyone's shared ambitions for what the borough should be like by 2040. Importantly it will be informed by the views, experiences and ideas of those who live, work, study, visit and do business in the borough and this is your opportunity to have your say. During the global pandemic many people’s relationships with their communities changed. Trusted partnerships were formed and businesses and residents alike are now reflecting on what matters most to them. Many organisations are working alongside Walsall Council to deliver We Are Walsall 2040. They include local health partners West Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire Service and Walsall College. The public engagement phase of We Are Walsall 2040 begins next month and runs throughout the summer. The plan for We Are Walsall 2040 is expected to be unveiled in the spring of next year.
